Out and About

As a service we love making the most of taking our guys out and about! Giving our clients choices and opening doors allowing them to engage in new experiences is so important to us. From walks, cafe visits and getting involved in the local community to activities like bowling, bingo and the cinema. We tailor our trips to those we support, ensuring everyone has the chance to enjoy the fun! There are extra charges for these sessions but some are subsidised. April - October we are lucky enough to have weekly slots with Testwood Lakes Sailability, who provide sailing sessions for adults with additional needs. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and try something new whilst enjoying the sunshine! Sessions are £6 and clients can work towards a qualification. 

We also have clients who attend weekly sessions at The Music Man Project. The group practise songs and Makaton signs and learn to play new instruments with an annual opportunity to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London, it is fantastic! This year we have been fortunate enough to receive a donation which has allowed us to take our clients on their dream days out (Click here to take you to the summer newsletter, for more information and pictures), we have all had such fun!
